In the original the shooting was honestly better since you dont have the hitmarkers making you unsure if you are even hitting anyone as you can barely see anyone.

I have MAJOR PTSD from these fights (and both other fights Mega-Emperor is involved in), so seeing them get stomped flat like this is very, very satisfying. I will be perfectly blunt and say that I did not know how to prepare myself for these two, so I ended up needing an insane amount of luck on my side to pull out a win. Love the game to death, but seriously - SCREW. THIS. BOSS.

I got some black hawk down vibes from this part in the game. I was like, “any skinnies come around this corner you watch my back”

Fun fact, all your squad mates can be seen on the board in the pit

Pay attention to the trooper in the remastered scene. He look back and sees you getting up. What're the odds that he looks *away from the enemy once* and sees you getting up,he had to have been checking periodically. Then after seeing you,what does he do? Immediately starts looking for another rifle to give you,a random Ranger that he was worried about. Then after finding one under some debris holds it up and instead of tossing it to you, *gets up in the line of fire* and makes sure that rifle makes it in your hands. He payed for his kindness with his life,but he saved you and made sure you stayed in that fight. A real chad Trooper right there.

Man this shows this game REALLY didn't need a remaster. MW1 Remastered looks great, and honestly did need some tuning up in areas (especially with its weird lighting), but MW2 aged decently well, and this Remaster feels like it didn't add all that much except basic upgrades. And as overhyped as I think it's MP was, it's a damn shame they didn't even bother trying to remaster the MP, especially when that was the most impactful part of this game.
